1+1 | ecobox and WeReforest
In addition to this cube, a climate-resistant tree will be planted in Germany with the support of WeReforest e.V.
Remove the sleeve, slide the lid off the wooden box and take out the entire contents.
Place the compostable planting pot in the ecobox, fill with the coconut fibre tablet and slowly pour in water to about 2cm below the edge of the cup. After about 5 minutes, the coconut fibre tablet will turn into soil.
Open the seed bag and press the seeds approx. 1 cm deep into the substrate and cover lightly with soil.
Place the ecobox in a bright, warm place and only water moderately until germination (approx. 40ml about every 3 days – avoid waterlogging!). The pedunculate oak will slowly begin to grow after about 6-12 weeks. Continue to water the plants moderately.
As soon as the plant you have grown is too big for the ecobox, the small tree along with the compostable planting cup can be transferred into a flower pot with some soil or into the garden. The wooden box can then be used as a pen holder or gift box, for example!
The pedunculate oak can grow up to 16 meters high and reach a trunk diameter of up to one meter.
