The DLG Committee for Forestry

One of the aims of the DLG Committee for Forestry is to provide specialist work and information for forest owners and forestry specialists on the commercial utilisation of their forest areas. This is achieved by generating possible synergies within the DLG, such as specialised committees, the DLG Academy or exhibitions, and the committee's qualified forestry network. The committee's work also serves to exchange information with each other and for their own further training.

• Annual expert forum at the DLG Winter Conference  on current forestry topics
• Organisation of the technical programme of the DLG Forest Days (every two years)
• Organisation of an expert forum during AGRITECHNICA (every two years)
• Internal specialist conferences and networking in forestry committees.
