AgriWomen Global Exchange Online Session connects women in agriculture worldwide, creating a space for shared learning, collaboration, and sustainable innovation. Our new online session series brings together Women in Ag Award Winners, experts, and the Female Agri Fellows Network to exchange real‑world insights and strengthen global connections.
The second session spotlights Asia with the theme “Building Future-Ready Agriculture: From Climate-Smart Production to Sustainable Markets“, featuring inspiring success stories and interactive discussion.
Three winners and nominees of the Women in Ag Award share their business models, experiences and practical insights – and demonstrate how entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability are creating new opportunities for climate-resilient agriculture and sustainable markets in Asia. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and build meaningful connections during the Q&A session.
Who should attend?
All women working in agriculture and the agribusiness sector, or who are interested in the role of women in the industry, are welcome to attend. Winners and nominees of the Women in Ag Award, industry experts, and members of the “Female Agri Fellows” network are especially encouraged to join.
Dr. Anna-Maria Nuñez Vega, India
Women in Ag Award – Agribusiness Category 2023 – 1st Place Winner
Dr. Anna-Maria Nuñez Vega is CTO of Grain Technik Pvt. Ltd. and has nearly two decades of experience in post-harvest technology, grain preservation and food safety. She holds a Master’s in Environmental and Process Engineering, an MBA from EUDE Madrid, and a PhD in Postharvest Technology from the University of Kassel. Before joining Grain Technik in 2021, she held expert and leadership roles at Bühler in Germany and India, where she founded and headed the International Rice Milling Academy. In 2023, she received the Women in Ag Award in the Agribusiness category.

Women in Ag Award – Farming Category 2025 – Nominee
Tu Nguyen is Co-Founder of CAS Energy, a technology company advancing renewable energy, climate-smart agriculture, and circular economy solutions. She leads the company's strategy, partnerships, and international growth, driving innovative business models that integrate rooftop solar, renewable energy and sustainable agriculture. Tu is passionate about accelerating the energy transition through scalable, commercially viable climate solutions across Vietnam.
Lastiana Yuliandari Utami, Indonesia
Women in Ag Award – Agribusiness Category 2025 – Nominee
Lastiana Yuliandari Utami is a regenerative organic entrepreneur and founder of Aliet Green, a women-led social enterprise empowering smallholder farmers in Indonesia. Her mission is to uplift rural communities – especially women and disabled farmers – through sustainable agroforestry and ethical trade. Without a formal agricultural background, she pioneered globally certified coconut sugar and vanilla production, creating inclusive systems that drive climate resilience, economic empowerment, and social change. Lastiana leads with empathy, innovation, and purpose to build a better future from the ground up.
Nathalie Joest, Germany
Nathalie Joest is the Head of Communities at DLG e.V. (German Agricultural Society), where she strengthens networks and fosters dialogue across the agricultural sector. She plays an active role in the Female Agri Fellows network and co‑hosts its podcast series, highlighting women’s leadership and empowerment in agribusiness. Nathalie also leads the organization of the Women in Ag Award, helping showcase and celebrate outstanding female innovators shaping the future of agriculture.
