European Pig Producers (EPP) – A network for knowledge and exchange

The European Pig Producers (EPP) is a network of leading pig farmers dedicated to sharing experience and expertise across borders.

Pig producers in Europe operate within a shared political and economic framework. As a result, thinking in European dimensions and focusing on global trends is becoming increasingly important.

To support this development, the EPP Club was founded in 1990 in Herning, Denmark. Today, it has grown to include over 600 members from 22 countries.

The Club’s mission is to promote and strengthen the European idea within the pig farming sector.

The current President of EPP is Dutch sow farmer Gert van Beek, with German piglet producer and finisher Michael Riedl serving as Vice President.
