We obtain information about developments and issues in irrigation management and pass this knowledge on to practitioners.
In the field of irrigation, we offer opportunities to exchange information, discuss and comment on all important developments and issues relating to field irrigation. We maintain close co-operation with the German Federal Association for Field Irrigation and other specialist bodies throughout Germany. Connections to organisations in Austria allow us to look at a neighbouring country.

Co-operation project with Expert Group on Irrigation
In addition to the DLG Working Group on Irrigation, the Expert Group on Irrigation of ALB, DLG and KTBL exists as part of a nationwide, neutral information network for efficient irrigation. Both committees complement each other at a national level and their respective activities are continuously coordinated. The exchange takes place in co-operation with experts from research, education and practice. The goal of the expert group is to optimise irrigation on a technically sound basis. To this end, consulting sheets on specific issues with practical relevance are prepared and made available to interested parties free of charge.
