Agricultural and Tax Law

Our goal is to prepare and explain both basic and complex agricultural and tax law issues for farmers in an understandable way.

We identify legally relevant topics for agricultural companies and their environment and sensitise agricultural entrepreneurs to legal issues in connection with their business activities.

The DLG Committee for Agricultural and Tax Law

The DLG Committee for Agricultural and Tax Law is a committee for identifying legal developments in agriculture. The committee deals with legal issues arising from entrepreneurial activities in agricultural practice. It is made up of farmers, advisors and lawyers. We develop informative leaflets and publications in order to deal with legal issues in a practical manner and to communicate relevant operational topics. We also organise public sessions at DLG events to make our knowledge accessible to a wide audience and to highlight the importance of legal aspects in operational risk management.

Current topics
  • Value-added tax law
  • Co-operations - legal, tax and business management
  • Transfer of business in the course of anticipated succession
