Third AgroFarm Middle East opened its doors from 7 – 8 of October at the Dubai World Trade Center, UAE – only trade fair in the UAE specialized 100% in animal farming – has proven to be a hub for the Middle East region
AgroFarm Middle East started for the third time in Dubai co-located with AgraME and has supplemented the programme with topics around animal husbandry. AgroFarm Middle East covered the whole portfolio for all locally relevant animal species and offered a comprehensive technical program consisting of presentations and workshops and the biggest indoor animal show for cattle and with a larger focus on sheep and goats. The aisles were buzzing with key global innovators and investors, showcasing products set to transform the agricultural landscape of the MEA region.
With over 150 exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge innovations in horticulture, vertical farming, aquaculture, veterinary products, and sustainable agriculture, the show witnessed a vibrant exchange of ideas, insights, and solutions shaping the future of agriculture in the region. Over 6,000 visitors came to discover what the exhibitors had to offer in two days on a surface of 6,000 sqm.
According to the exhibitors, the quality and the number of visitors were very good. Visitors came not only from the UAE, but also from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and African countries, as Dubai is regarded as a meeting place for the entire region. Dubai, as the hub for the entire GCC area, has turned out to be the perfect location for AgroFarm and its range.
The unique platform brought together professionals from Agriculture, Horticulture and Indoor Farming, Livestock Nutrition and Health, Agtech and Aquaculture. A total of four countries supported their companies with a national pavilion: Germany, Turkey, South Korea and the Philippines.
From thought-provoking seminars and product showcases to impactful networking sessions, AgroFarm Middle East 2024 and the co-located fair AgraME were platforms where industry leaders came together to drive positive change and growth. Thanks to the exhibitors, partners, speakers, and visitors for making this edition a huge success. The two-day international conference “Regenerative Agriculture” on topics such as sustainability and innovations in agriculture was held during the trade fair with high-ranking participants and completed the show. The show also delivered networking opportunities and groundbreaking products as well as powerhouse speakers like H.E. Dr. Mohamed Salman Alhammadi Ph.D., Mark Tester and Khaled Abdulla Al-Marzooqi, the future of agriculture took center stage.
The fair was inaugurated by H.E. Eng. Dawoud Al Hajri, Director General of Dubai Municipality. Other VIPs were Assistant Undersecretary for the Food Diversity Sector, UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, H.E. Dr. Mohammed Salman Al Hammadi, Consul General of Germany in Dubai, H.E. Sybille Pfaff and Consul General of Japan in Dubai, H.E. Jun Imanishi with the delegation from Japan.
