Selected highlights to prepare for DLG Feldtage 2026
16–18 June 2026 – International DLG Crop Production Center, Bernburg – Theme: “Crop Production out of the Box” – More than 300 exhibitors expected – Start-ups, FarmRobotix, machinery demonstrations, trial plots, awards and much more – dlg-feldtage.de
From 16 to 18 June at DLG Feldtage, a leading European event for crop production professionals, visitors can experience innovations, live demonstrations and professional exchange directly in the field. The guiding theme “Crop Production out of the Box” promises fresh ideas for crop production, cutting-edge agricultural machinery, as well as new varieties and cultivation strategies. Around 300 exhibitors will present their innovations in crop production. As the organizer, the DLG (German Agricultural Society) provides an overview in advance of the key highlights not to be missed.
In line with this year’s theme, professional visitors will find innovative ideas, unconventional approaches and fresh impulses for modern crop production throughout the exhibition grounds. In the trial fields, theory meets practice: 86 companies will present a unique diversity of crops and varieties, along with new cultivation strategies and methods.
Visitors can also attend consultation sessions on topics such as “Planting Green” and practical weed control strategies with professional farmers and other experts directly in the trial field area. In addition, pop-up talks at the plots will address current and innovative approaches on site, an ideal opportunity for spontaneous exchange and valuable insights for farming businesses. Prominent signage in the fields indicate where the next talk will begin. Further information, stand numbers and up-to-date times can be found in the technical programme on the DLG Feldtage website or in the DLG Feldtage app.
Robotics in arable farming and guided tours
DLG Feldtage provide the opportunity to experience state-of-the-art agricultural machinery and autonomous technologies in practical use. For the second time, the “FarmRobotix” platform will be featured, focusing on robotics, digitalisation, automation and AI in crop production. The platform brings together farmers, manufacturers, start-ups, researchers and investors, showcasing how forward-looking technologies are transforming agriculture. 12 manufacturers have registered to present their robotic solutions in live demonstrations, from autonomous carrier vehicles to AI-based weed control systems.
In this context, the guided tour “FarmRobotix: Crop Production 4.0 – Sense, Think, Act” will also be offered. On Wednesday, 17 June, and Thursday, 18 June, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., participants can learn how digitalisation, robotics and photonics are changing crop production. In just one hour, five exhibitors will demonstrate how Agriculture 4.0 is already working in practice.
Further robotics highlights will be showcased at the Field Robot Event, an international student competition demonstrating the potential of autonomous agricultural technology and how innovation, sustainability and practical application can be combined. This year, 16 teams from 10 countries will take part.
Innovation will also be on display in the start-up area. DLG Feldtage offer startup companies a platform to test their ideas in practice, gain visibility and network with farmers, companies and investors. A key highlight is the DLG Feldtage Start-up Award, which places a special focus on innovative solutions for agriculture.
In addition, the format “Tradition meets start-up” demonstrates how innovation and practice can successfully come together. In a pilot project, a robotics start-up and a farming operation are collaborating under real-life conditions.
Europe’s largest commented machinery demonstration
With six thematic areas and a total of 67 machinery combinations, the machinery demonstrations at DLG Feldtage represent Europe’s largest commented machinery showcase.
In the Live Arena, technology and innovation can be experienced in a compact format. Daily live demonstrations provide practical insights, complemented by drone and webcam footage displayed on large LED screens—allowing visitors to follow technical details up close in a clear and informative way.
On the DLG vehicle courses, visitors can experience technical solutions directly in action. Live demos and static machinery displays allow for easy comparison and hands-on evaluation. Technical information on the equipment is available throughout the day.
