International FoodTec Award 2027: Winners Announced

DLG’s International FoodTec Award for pioneering developments – 21 award winners honored for innovation, sustainability, and efficiency – Award ceremony at Anuga FoodTec 2027 in Cologne – www.foodtecaward.com

The DLG (German Agricultural Society), together with its partners, has announced the winners of the 2027 International FoodTec Awards. Twenty-one innovation projects from the international food technology and supplier industries were honored with the prestigious technology award by an international jury of experts. Five innovations received the International FoodTec Award in gold, while sixteen were awarded silver medals. The winning companies from eight European countries impressively underscore the industry’s innovative strength and technological capabilities. The award ceremony will take place on February 23, 2027, during Anuga FoodTec in Cologne. Detailed information about the winners and their innovations is available at www.foodtecaward.com.

With the International FoodTec Award, the DLG, together with its partners, recognizes groundbreaking developments in food and beverage technology that stand out for their innovation, sustainability, and efficiency. An international jury of experts - comprising specialists from research and academia as well as industry representatives - has once again selected and honored the most advanced developments from a large number of entries through an intensive and technically rigorous selection process. The award, presented every three years, is given as gold and silver medals.

Gold medals recognize products and services featuring new technological concepts whose application enables a new process or significantly improves existing ones. Silver medals are awarded to existing products that have undergone technical enhancements resulting in a significant improvement in their current function or the existing process.
