Inhouse Farming Feed & Food Convention 2027: Innovations for the agrifood systems of the future

21–22 April 2027 at the Congress Center Hamburg, Germany – International DLG conference and business platform for future food and feed systems – foyer exhibition for companies and start-ups – exhibitors and sponsors can now register: www.inhouse-farming.com/de/feed-food-convention

How can new raw material sources, alternative proteins, and innovative production technologies be integrated into viable business models for resilient food and feed systems? The Inhouse Farming Feed & Food Convention 2027, taking place on 21–22 April 2027 at the Congress Center Hamburg, Germany, provides answers to this question. The second edition of this international DLG (German Agricultural Society) event will once again be held in Hamburg, a convenient and easily accessible hub for international participants. Under the banner “Driving Innovation across the Agrifood System,” the convention combines a technical program, foyer exhibition, and networking to create a platform for exchange, knowledge transfer, and new business connections.

The focus is on innovations across the entire food and feed value chain. The convention addresses four key areas: raw materials, technologies, processes, and markets. These span new resources such as alternative proteins from plant-based sources, insects, and mycelium, as well as biomass and yields from indoor aquaculture systems, including fish and algae. In the field of technologies and production, the spotlight is on forward-looking developments such as fermentation and biotechnology, indoor and vertical farming, as well as automation, sensor technology, and AI. Processing and scaling, particularly industrial integration along the value chain, are also key topics. In addition, the program covers market and regulatory frameworks, including novel foods, food safety, business models, financing, sustainability, environmental, social and governance (ESG), and regulation.

A Platform for New Value Chains

The Inhouse Farming Feed & Food Convention is aimed at companies, start-ups, and institutions that develop, apply, finance, or regulate future food and feed systems. Target groups include farms, the agricultural and food industries, technology providers, plant manufacturers, agricultural, food and biotech start-ups, research institutions, investors, associations, networks, as well as policymakers. As an international conference and business platform, the convention creates a cross-sector meeting point for innovation, practical expertise, and collaboration. Providing guidance in dynamic future markets, the convention brings together stakeholders actively shaping new value chains in the agrifood system.

Foyer Exhibition: Registration Now Open for Exhibitors

The convention is accompanied by a foyer exhibition, offering companies, start-ups, and institutions a dedicated platform for visibility, product presentation, and networking. Exhibitors can showcase their solutions, technologies, and services in direct proximity to the conference program and engage with key decision-makers.

Exhibitors and sponsoring partners can now register for the Inhouse Farming Feed & Food Convention 2027: www.inhouse-farming.com/de/feed-food-convention

Participation options range from exhibition space and sponsorship packages to customised formats within the convention environment.

Conference Programme and Ticket Shop from Autumn 2026

An initial overview of the conference programme will be published in autumn 2026, when the ticket shop will also open. Further information on the convention, its thematic focus, as well as exhibitor, sponsor, and visitor details is available at: www.inhouse-farming.com/en/feed-food-convention/exhibiting-sponsorship

Two Formats, One Focus: Convention and Show as the Ideal Complement

Complementing the convention, the Inhouse Farming Feed & Food Show will once again serve as a key industry touchpoint this year. The show will take place as part of EuroTier from 10 to 13 November 2026 in Hanover, Germany, offering insights into the latest developments in future-oriented food and feed systems within the context of a leading international trade fair.

Together, the convention and the show form an ideal combination: while the convention, as a specialist conference and business platform, enables in-depth exchange, knowledge transfer, and networking, the show makes innovations tangible and visible in a trade fair setting.
