Horse husbandry has gained considerable economic importance in agriculture in recent years. At the same time, horse businesses face a wide range of challenges, including rising costs, increasing expectations regarding animal health and welfare, and the need to develop sustainable business models for the future. EuroTier 2026 therefore offers horse owners and operators a comprehensive technical programme on all four exhibition-days, featuring practical information and solutions. A special highlight will be the Horse Theme Day on Thursday, 12 November.

The world's leading trade fair for professional animal farming and livestock management will take place from 10 to 13 November 2026 in Hanover, Germany. Under the guiding theme "Intelligence in animal farming", EuroTier brings together innovations and practical solutions that enhance efficiency, sustainability, animal welfare and animal health.

The Horse Theme Day is organised jointly by the DLG Working Group on Horses and the German Equestrian Federation (FN) and focuses on business development, horse-friendly management and care, as well as professional exchange among industry experts.

"Whether management, horse-friendly housing and feeding, pasture fencing and maintenance, or animal health, EuroTier provides professional horse keepers with a central platform for information and exchange throughout all four exhibition days. The Horse Theme Day on 12 November offers particular inspiration and practical impulses for the future development of horse enterprises," says Susanne Gäckler, Project Manager Livestock Farming at the DLG Competence Center for Agriculture and Food.

Business Development Between Market Change and Succession

Following the panel discussion, a Meet & Greet will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Max Eyth Lounge, offering participants the opportunity to network and exchange ideas.
