From 10 to 13 November 2026, Hanover will once again become the international meeting place for the livestock farming sector as EuroTier, the world's leading trade fair for professional livestock farming and livestock management, opens its doors. Organized by the DLG (German Agricultural Society), EuroTier is aimed at farmers and international livestock professionals bringing together more than 2,100 exhibitors from 55 countries showcasing innovations and solutions across 220,000 square meters in 13 halls. Under the guiding theme “Intelligence in Animal Farming”, the DLG technical program connects technological innovation with animal welfare, efficiency, and sustainability. It features Spotlights, Expert Stages, and networking events for the international industry.

Together with EnergyDecentral, the international trade fair for decentralized energy supply, and the Inhouse Farming – Feed & Food Show, EuroTier 2026 creates a comprehensive platform for agriculture. Exhibition areas range from breeding and reproduction, feeding and housing systems to milking and cooling technology, climate and environmental solutions, digitalization, robotics, sensors, artificial intelligence, processing and direct farm sales.
Cattle, pigs, poultry and horses are the key livestock sectors represented at the exhibition, complemented by cross-sector themes such as animal health, biosecurity, emission reduction, feed and feeding technology, alternative protein sources and sustainable production systems. Feed and feeding remain core topics, covering feed production, feed management and meeting animals’ specific nutritional requirements. Forage production is a new highlight within the technical program, which consists of Spotlights, Expert Stages, conferences and networking events for the global livestock sector.
The integration of housing systems, feeding technology, milking equipment and manure management with robotics, sensors, artificial intelligence and automated systems offers new opportunities for precise and competitive livestock farming. EuroTier 2026 will demonstrate how intelligent technologies can simplify workflows, improve profitability and simultaneously support emission reduction, animal welfare and animal health.

“Intelligence in Animal Farming” – Technical Program with DLG Spotlights and DLG Expert Stages
Under the guiding theme “Intelligence in Animal Farming”, exhibitors will demonstrate how technological intelligence can be transformed into practical solutions for farmers and livestock producers.
DLG Spotlight: Barn Robot Event
At the Barn Robot Event in Hall 13, Stand E43, visitors can experience automation in dairy farming firsthand as manufacturers of advanced milking technology showcase practical robotic systems. Live moderated demonstrations will illustrate how automation can improve efficiency, simplify work processes and support animal welfare.
DLG Spotlight: Emission Reduction
At the DLG Spotlight “Emission Reduction” in Hall 17, Stand E28, exhibitors will present technologies and processes designed to reduce emissions in pig and poultry production. These practical solutions can improve environmental performance while maintaining animal health and economic viability.
DLG Spotlight: TopTierTreff
The TopTierTreff in Hall 11, Stand G33, a leading meeting place for animal genetics and breeding, brings together national and international breeders and organizations. Current breeding strategies in dairy and beef cattle breeding are presented through regular live presentations of breeding animals.
New: DLG Spotlight: Forage Production
Whether maize silage, grass silage or hay, forage production plays a vital role in efficient ruminant nutrition. Exhibitors will demonstrate how smart farming technologies can improve forage quality from harvest through ensiling and storage. The new EuroTier Forage Days on 12 and 13 November as part of the DLG Spotlight Forage Production in Hall 12, Stand F26, will complement the spotlight with lectures and panel discussions on the Expert Stage Cattle.
DLG Spotlight: Innovation Boulevard
The new Innovation Boulevard will present a selection of products recognized with the Innovation Award EuroTier / EnergyDecentral 2026, alongside other notable innovations in livestock farming, feed, management and technology. The Innovation Boulevard is located in Hall 21, Stand E05.
DLG Expert Stages: Knowledge Hubs for Livestock Professionals
Across nine stages located within various halls, EuroTier 2026 will provide dedicated programs for cattle, pigs, poultry, direct farm sales, biosecurity and feed safety. Additional stages include:

New features
New: EuroTier Milky Way
The new EuroTier Milky Way spanning Halls 11, 12, and 13 will bring together companies across the entire dairy value chain, from genetics and animal identification through grazing systems, forage production, milking and cooling technologies to processing and direct marketing.
New: DLG VetCon
Held on 12 and 13 November, the new veterinary event, DLG VetCon, is an international networking and continuing education event for livestock veterinarians. Workshops, expert presentations, guided tours and the Animal Welfare Event will combine professional development with industry exchange.
New: EuroTier Charity Auction
On the final day of the exhibition, selected exhibitor products and innovations will be auctioned live in Hall 21. Visitors will have the opportunity to bid on innovations while supporting charitable causes. A virtual bidding portal is planned.

The Science Campus in Hall 13 and agrifood start-up area in Hall 25 will bring together research institutions, universities, start-ups and investors. The platform promotes knowledge transfer, innovation and new business opportunities for the future of livestock farming.
