What members can expect for 2026

Over the past years, European Arable Farmers (EAF) has grown into a trusted European network for progressive arable farmers. What began as a platform for exchange has evolved into a community that wants to connect people, compares practices, and creates real added value across borders.

In 2026, the EAF will build on this foundation with a clearer focus, more structured formats and a stronger emphasis on shared learning. The aim is not more activity but more relevance.

Turning experience into shared progress

The guiding idea for 2026 reflects what has always defined the EAF: learning from each other across regions, systems and perspectives.

Turning European farming experience into shared progress means:

  • making the diversity of European arable farming visible,

  • translating individual experiences into collective insights,

  • and strengthening the EAF as a place where farmers connect on equal terms.

This approach builds directly on previous EAF activities – from study tours and meetings to economic benchmarking and informal peer exchange – while sharpening the focus on continuity and impact.

A clear structure: People, Practice, Platform

In 2026, EAF activities will follow three closely linked pillars:

1. People – the EAF members

At its core, the EAF is its members. Throughout the year, selected member portraits will highlight farms, personal perspectives and strategic decisions from across Europe. These stories will not only show who is part of the network, but also why international exchange matters in day-to-day farming.

2. Practice – real challenges and solutions

Building on the EAF’s long-standing strength in practical comparison, 2026 will further emphasize concrete production and management challenges as well as economic and market-related discussions. An annual economy and benchmarking session will provide space for deeper discussion, learning and reflection.

3. Platform – know-how-driven exchange

The EAF will continue to offer a mix of proven and new formats:

  • several digital meetings for focused exchange,

  • a physical study tour to strengthen personal connections,

  • and selected collaborations with partners to broaden perspectives.

All formats are designed to be efficient, relevant and firmly rooted in members’ interests.

Quality over quantity

A key lesson from previous years is that value does not come from constant activity, but from well-prepared, meaningful exchange. In 2026, the EAF will therefore focus on a limited number of high-quality formats, with content reused thoughtfully across channels such as the website and social media. This approach ensures continuity without overload, clear expectations for members and sustainable use of resources.

Looking ahead

With its 2026 program, the EAF reinforces what has always made the network strong: trust, openness and the willingness to learn from different farming realities across Europe.

Members can expect a year that deepens connections, sharpens insights and turns individual experience into shared progress.
