Inhouse Farming – Feed & Food Convention 2025: Technical Programme and Ticket Shop Online

International business conference with foyer exhibition on 30 September and 1 October, 2025 in Hamburg - Sustainable business models in the agricultural and food value chain

The Inhouse Farming - Feed & Food Convention 2025 opens its doors on Tuesday, 30 September, and Wednesday, 1 October, at the Congress Center Hamburg. The international business conference of the DLG (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft (German Agricultural Society)) brings together players from the agricultural and food sectors, supports the expansion of networks and is a source of inspiration for sustainable business models along the entire value chain. Key topics include vertical farming, insect farming, aquaculture and cellular agriculture. The technical programme and ticket shop for the Inhouse Farming Convention 2025 are now online.

The transformation of the agriculture and food sector is in full swing. What stakeholders in the agricultural and food value chain need today is expertise that they can use to develop sustainable visions for their own company. Which strategy is the right one to strengthen their own position in the long term? Various options should be examined in the interests of foresighted management. The Inhouse Farming Convention 2025 is the ideal source of inspiration for this.

Participants can choose between four parallel sessions on both days of the event. On Tuesday, 30 September 2025, after a brief introduction to the topic from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the focus will be on alternative branches of production and new business models such as vertical farming, aquaculture, insect breeding and cellular agriculture as well as fermentation processes and mushrooms. Best practice examples, field reports and expert discussions will shed light on the potential and challenges of these methods and highlight specific market opportunities.

The second day of the event, on Thursday, 1 October 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., will be dedicated primarily to the technical and economic framework conditions necessary for the successful implementation of these innovative production models. The focus is on topics such as novel food, infrastructure, automation, energy efficiency, legal requirements and financing, circularity and side streams. Experts from research, industry and practice provide valuable insights into how economically viable production can be realised.

Inhouse Farming – Feed & Food

The "Inhouse Farming – Feed & Food" is the DLG's (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft - German Agricultural Society) B2B platform for the agricultural and food systems of the future. Closely networked with agricultural practice, it offers technical information, perspectives, innovations and business - from feed to food. The "Inhouse Farming – Feed & Food Convention" is a new format that will take place from 2025 in annual alternation with the "Inhouse Farming – Feed & Food Show", which is held alongside EuroTier in Hanover. The international conference will intensify the exchange of knowledge within the value chain in order to jointly advance and shape the transformation of the agriculture and food industry.
