AGRITECHNICA ASIA 2026 launches guiding theme and expands Innovation platforms across East and Southeast Asia_

As Asia continues to advance in agricultural transformation, the region is embracing practical innovation, digitalization, and inclusive development bringing  farms, farmers, and future visions together at the forefront of change. The AGRITECHNICA ASIA 2026 trade fair, taking place 20–22 May 2026 at BITEC, Bangkok, responds to this momentum with a refreshed guiding theme: “Farm. Farmer. Future.”

With its roots in the Germany-based AGRITECHNICA, the world’s largest indoor trade fair for agricultural machinery, AGRITECHNICA ASIA is entering its sixth edition. Today established as Asia’s leading exhibition for crop production and mechanization, the trade fair not only brings tailored innovations to the Southeast Asian market but also offers a strong international network that enables business development and knowledge exchange, core aims of the event.

Organized by DLG (German Agricultural Society) and co-hosted by Thailand’s Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC), the trade fair continues to serve as a key regional platform.

“ AGRITECHNICA ASIA plays a key role in advancing technical innovations particularly through targetted exchanges between international experts and local stakeholders. What sets the event apart is that it is rooted in local need, which facilitates and promotes business opportunities,” says Katharina Staske, Managing Director of DLG Asia Pacific.

A Platform built on Asia’s priorities

AGRITECHNICA ASIA 2026 focuses on context-specific advancements in crop production, mechanization, digital farming, and farmer-centered development. The trade fair offers a growing ecosystem of events and formats that connect producers, entrepreneurs, and policymakers shaping the region’s agri-food future.

“In Southeast Asia, progress means putting technology in the hands of farmers and creating pathways for practical, scalable innovation. AGRITECHNICA ASIA is our platform to do exactly that,” adds Staske.
