The graphics of the month show the responses of agricultural businesses in Germany to the question of which areas they hope to see new innovations and technology trends in. This time, the results of the current survey from spring 2025 are compared with the results of the survey from winter 2023/24.

The agricultural sector has been grappling with a shortage of skilled workers for several years now. Does this issue affect me too? Or, as a family business, am I largely unaffected? In the latest Agrifuture Insights survey, participating farmers were asked in which areas they plan to invest over the next 12 months. Soil cultivation and field preparation technology ranks highest among respondents in terms of planned investments at 47%, surpassing even the purchase of tractors.
