What makes your work or contribution to the industry special?

Hello, I'm Prof. Dr. Meltem Onay, founder of Agnoray, a social impact-focused startup that combines agriculture and technology.

Agnoray has become a company that contributes to the sustainable transformation of the agricultural sector by establishing a digital infrastructure that integrates services from different technology companies that don't typically collaborate.

We bring together the solutions of technology companies specializing in various disciplines, such as software developers, IOT experts, traceability system providers, and sustainability consultants, on a single digital platform.

Thanks to this infrastructure, Agnoray enables agricultural data and agricultural businesses to measure carbon emissions, manage sustainability goals, create climate change adaptation plans, and ensure full traceability in production.

Our greatest strength: We actively work to improve all processes and align them with international standards, building on a culture of sustainability throughout the production and supply chain, from farmers to branding, for both our farmers/cooperative members and for the factories where products are processed, from the field to the factory gate, and from the factory to the consumer. I'm incredibly excited about this entire journey. I strive to facilitate low-emission production, sustainable supply chains, and even help businesses access green financing.
