(DLG). “Future Pig Farming” is the main theme of this year's European Pig Producers (EPP) Congress, which will take place in Kolding, Denmark, from May 14 to 16, 2025. Numerous pig farmers and representatives from the upstream and downstream sectors have already registered for the EPP Congress that will hold discussions on current industry challenges. Farm visits and a comprehensive networking program form part of the the congress program.
The need for information on how to communicate well in the pig industry continue to be high in view of changing consumer expectations and consumption behaviour. In a world where consumers are increasingly focusing on transparency, sustainability and quality, it is crucial to redefine communication between producers and consumers. The EPP Congress 2025 therefore offers pig farmers and producers the opportunity to find out about the latest developments in smart farming and to experience innovations in pig farming at first hand. The Congress offers numerous opportunities for international networking with professional colleagues and experts.
