American Dairy XPO (ADX) preparing for launch in November: New Hub for Dairy Innovation in the Northeast

November 5–6, 2025 – Champlain Valley Exposition, Essex (Burlington), Vermont Burlington, VT – The U.S. dairy sector is gaining a major new platform. American Dairy XPO (ADX) debuts November 5–6, 2025, at the Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex, just outside Burlington, Vermont.

(DLG). With just three months until the first American Dairy XPO (ADX) launches on November 5–6 in Vermont, preparations are in full swing. The exhibition layout is taking shape with more than 100 dairy brands already confirmed, all set to showcase innovations tailored to the needs of dairy producers in the United States.

Best known in North America for its international trade fairs Agritechnica and EuroTier in Germany, DLG (German Agricultural Society) has launched the American Dairy XPO (ADX) to expand its event portfolio for American Dairy Producers. Building on the success of the Stratford-based Canadian Dairy XPO—which DLG acquired last year—The American Dairy XPO brings a new platform directly to American Dairy producers. The event will showcase the latest innovations in the sector for dairy producers.

American Dairy XPO is poised to become the premier dairy trade show for the Northeast area and expanding for dairy producers all across the USA.

“We saw a real gap in the Northeast when it came to large-scale, innovation-driven events for American dairy producers,” says Jordan Underhill, President of American Dairy XPO and originator of CDX, the established annual trade fair for Canadian dairy producers.

“With its central location and strong dairy tradition, Vermont located in the United States is the ideal launchpad for ADX,” adds Underhill.

A new opportunity in an under-served region

With 108 exhibitors and dairy specific brands already confirmed, American Dairy XPO is quickly gaining momentum. Founding partners include John Deere, Lely Center New England, Agriplastics, and Progressive Dairy serving as the official media partner.

“John Deere fully supports the new American Dairy XPO as a much-needed innovation and education platform for dairy producers in the Northeast United States. We are confident that DLG as the professional organizer behind the successful Canadian Dairy XPO—as well as the world’s leading trade fairs Agritechnica and EuroTier—will create a unique and valuable event for the dairy sector that is well worth attending. For this reason, John Deere has made a two-year commitment as a Founding Partner and major exhibitor of the American Dairy XPO,” says Mike Bailey, Global Director of Production Systems for Dairy and Livestock at John Deere.

The new XPO is designed to serve producers from Vermont, New York, Pennsylvania—ranked second and third in the U.S. for number of licensed dairy herds—as well as from Quebec, Canada’s leading dairy province. EIt is expected to expand to all of the United States as the show progresses.

More Than a Trade Show

In addition to the many innovations showcased by exhibitors, American Dairy XPO features practical programming designed to equip dairy producers not only with hands-on know-how, but also with opportunities for networking and entertainment.

Throughout the show, the “Dairy Delivers” Classroom offers practical, data-driven education sessions on key topics that are presented by the Vermont Department of Agriculture, with speakers from top universities, industry associations, and leading companies.

DAIRYfest an evening networking event takes place on November 5 featuring live entertainment and a buffet showcasing dairy commodities. A highlight is the 4-H Fundraiser event where local 4-H clubs serve grilled cheese and milkshakes raising funds to support their programs in the region. Thanks to strong partnerships with key dairy companies and organizers, DLG North America expects excellent attendance and high visibility across the U.S. dairy sector.

Timing is everything

The launch of American Dairy XPO comes at a time of growing optimism among U.S. dairy producers. Massive investments in processing infrastructure, falling feed costs—particularly for corn and soybeans—and strong prices for beef crossbred calves are fueling confidence across the sector. This momentum aligns with booming export markets, driven by rising global demand for cheese and whey.
