(DLG). With more than 2,700 expected exhibitors—65 percent from abroad—Agritechnica 2025 is fully booked, filling all 23 halls. With 430,000 visitors expected, the world's largest agricultural machinery trade fair will run from 9 to 15 November in Hanover, Germany, debuting its “7 Days, 7 Topics” format, with each day targeting a specific group. This high exhibitor turnout reflects the event’s premier importance for farm equipment manufacturers to present their innovations.
All leading global farm equipment manufacturer have now committed to Agritechnica, joined by a broad spectrum of specialist machinery companies, suppliers and a strong presence of startups. Together, these exhibitors from more than 50 countries will present solutions for every stage of the farming process—from tractors, tillage and spreaders to sprayers and harvesters —across 23 halls, clearly structured into defined product areas. Autonomous systems, field robots, and advanced digital technologies, key drivers of innovation in arable agriculture, will also be featured. The majority of exhibitors originate from Germany, followed by Italy, China, Turkey, the Netherlands, France and India.
“The numbers speak for themselves, and the feedback confirms it. The industry continues to time its innovation launches with Agritechnica. Numerous companies have expressed strong support for our new ‘7 days, 7 topics’ concept, which aligns specific technologies and themes with targeted visitor groups on each day. This ensures focused engagement and greater efficiency for all involved,” says Timo Zipf, project manager of Agritechnica.
Agritechnica launches “7 Days – 7 Topics” to tailor visitor experience
Agritechnica’s new “7 Days – 7 Topics” initiative delivers focused knowledge and events each day for specific visitor groups, including family farms, large-scale operations, dealers, contractors and international professionals. The week opens with the Innovation and press Day, followed by two Agribusiness Days with limited ticket availability aimed at large-scale farmers, dealers and contractors.
Midweek features the International Farmers Day—highlighting Canada, the Czech Republic, and France—alongside Digital Farm Day, which explores how digital technologies are enabling smarter, more efficient farming. The program continues on the Friday with the Young Farmers Day and ensuing party.
Agritechnica 2025 concludes on Saturday with a festive“ Celebrate Farming” day, where traditional tractors roll out of the halls at 18:00, horns sounding in tribute.
Under the guiding theme “Touch Smart Efficiency,” Agritechnica 2025 showcases how smart technologies across the full range of farm equipment enhance productivity while conserving resources.
“But efficiency is also hands-on. Visitors are invited to explore these systems and equipment up close, because experiencing the technology firsthand is what makes Agritechnica so special, from analyzing the cockpit display in a combine harvester to inspecting variable rate application maps on a digital farm management platform. There will be plenty of opportunities for this, especially at our new 'Digital Farm Center' in Hall 21” adds Zipf.
Systems & Components – ideal complement
Agritechnica provides a broad overview of innovation in agricultural machinery, covering both the equipment itself and the technologies that support its operation. Held in parallel, the Systems & Components trade fair focuses on the supporting technologies behind modern farm equipment and off-highway vehicles. Exhibits span engines, electronics, drive systems, hydraulics, cabs, power lifts, and spare and wear parts, reflecting the close connection between machinery development and component innovation
Organized by DLG (German Agricultural Society), Agritechnica’s technical program forms the knowledge backbone of the event, featuring more than 300 expert-led sessions. Many of these slots will be filled by exhibitors and DLG expert committees, who will present their ideas and solutions to the global challenges of crop production. Delivered in both presentation and interactive formats, the sessions cover a broad spectrum of topics, including advanced research and emerging technologies.
Innovations guaranteed
The wide range of award schemes at Agritechnica highlights the innovations on display, from advanced components to futuristic concepts like drones that assess fruit ripeness. A central feature is the Agritechnica Innovation Awards, where gold and silver medals recognize practical solutions that will soon be available on the market for farmers.
