Asia-Pacific Trading Summit (AGRITECHNICA ASIA)

As part of AGRITECHNICA ASIA in Bangkok, the Asia-Pacific Trading Summit was held on 26 May 2022 under the organization of the BMEL in Berlin and the DLG. The theme of the meeting was: “Find new business partners get first-hand knowledge about markets.” And the aim was to find and discuss the insights of countries from the ASEAN region on possible requirements or cooperation opportunities in agricultural technology.
The event was opened by the Counsellor for Food and Agriculture Thailand-Vietnam-Indonesia from the German Embassy in Bangkok Dr. Bernd Christiansen and the President of the Thai Society for Agricultural Engineering Dr. Dares Kittiyopas.
Experts from Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia spoke about the special features of their respective countries and then discussed current issues with a representative of the VDMA from Europe during a panel discussion.
This event was moderated by Erik Guttulsröd from the DLG's Agricultural Competence Centre.
