For the first time, the EuroTier and EnergyDecentral trade fairs will take place from 9th to 12th February 2021, exclusively as online digital events. These digital events will, above all, offer the professional networking, for which the DLG is justifiably famous. It is this very agricultural network that has made both these trade fairs so successful. This same network, consisting of farmers and farming experts and some 1,400 exhibitors, will be uniting at the new online platform “EuroTier / EnergyDecentral digital”. The challenges for the DLG as organizer is to make these digital encounters not only personal but also efficient, by ensuring that supply and demand match: people looking for solutions and people offering them.
With these new and interactive platforms, the DLG has developed a new way to support the agricultural industry by enabling all business partners in the farming sector to find innovations as well as solutions, educational offers and inspiration, and to meet and network online. The digital events therefore provide the visitors with the means to make the best decisions for their farm.
We are convinced that “EuroTier / EnergyDecentral digital” represent not only an excellent but also a logical complement to the trade fairs, as physical trade fairs cannot currently take place due to the pandemic. These digital events are an additional instrument that support farmers in making informed investment decisions, based on a wide range of concentrated expertise on livestock and energy.
To achieve this goal, digital events, of course, have to be intuitive and easy to use and this has been uppermost in our minds when creating this platform. The new digital platform we have developed is highly interactive and has a very comfortable user interface that virtually reflects the core elements of the physical trade show visit.
After a one-time online registration, visitors can obtain information on the products and services of the exhibitors, contact them directly and actively participate in numerous events and discussions in the technical program.
