Tarım ve Teknoloji Günleri serves needs of Turkish farmers

From 1 to 4 September, the Tarım ve Teknoloji Günleri will be held for the 11th time in Tekirdağ, Karaevli, Turkey. Since 2010, DLG Fuarcilik has successfully implemented a tailor-made field day concept that is adapted to farmers' needs and local conditions. The event brings together leading farmers, agricultural resource and service companies, innovative start-ups and leading investors from the agricultural sector to share experiences, present innovations and network in a professional environment. This year, 80 companies are expected to showcase new and well-established varieties of corn, sunflower, lavender, watermelon, melon, pepper and sorghum across 120,000 m2 of space. There will also be demonstrations of machinery on over 40 plots prepared for this purpose. Also worth mentioning is this year's partner from France, the France sorghum producer association, which has planted six different varieties of sorghum.

In the small animal sector there will again be a judging competition, such as the Cattle Breeders Association, who will present their animals to an interested audience, and other competitions for breeders in the following areas: dairy cattle, sheep and goats.
