Some 2,000 exhibitors from 55 countries signed up for the world's leading trade fair for professional animal farming and livestock management - Guiding theme "We innovate animal farming" - Broad technical program with seven DLG-Spotlights and six Expert Stages - World Poultry Show presents all leading poultry production companies - November 12 to 15 November 2024 in Hanover, Germany
EuroTier, the world's leading trade fair for professional animal husbandry and livestock management, will take place in parallel with EnergyDecentral, the leading international trade fair for decentralized energy supply, from 12 to 15 November 2024 in Hanover, Germany. Entry tickets can now be purchased in the online ticket shop, which launched this month. Some 2,000 companies and organizations from 55 countries will be presenting innovations and strategies for successful livestock farming of the future on 220,000 square meters of exhibition space. Under the guiding theme "We innovate animal farming", the trade fair offers an international technical program on the latest developments in cattle, pig and poultry production as well as on the cross-industry topics of alternative proteins, genetics, feed and operating resources, husbandry and feeding systems, digitalization, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation as well as processing and marketing.
With some 2,000 exhibitors distributed across 13 complete halls covering 220,000 square meters of exhibition space and a top-class international technical program, EuroTier will once again be the highlight of the international livestock sector later this November. The June survey of potential visitors to EuroTier indicated that this year‘s comprehensive range of information on offer from exhibitors has already met with great interest from the industry. Key focus areas of the exhibition include housing and feeding technology, feed and operating resources as well as animal welfare, sustainability, automation, robotics and digitalization. EuroTier will be hosting the World Poultry Show once again which presents technical poultry farm solutions from international companies.

Ticket shop now open
The ticket shop for EuroTier 2024 opened this month. As the organizer, the DLG (German Agricultural Society) recommends purchasing online admission tickets in advance of the exhibition. At around 10 euros savings per ticket compared to buying at the door, the advantage is significant. Visitors can choose between a day ticket and a season ticket. A "Green Day Ticket" can be purchased for a small surcharge. The proceeds support reforestation programs in Germany. The day tickets are valid for one day on any chosen day between 12 and 15 November. The season tickets are valid for daily admission on each of the four days, from November 12 to 15. DLG-Spotlights to explore practical farming topics
Under the guiding theme: "We innovate animal farming", exhibitors will be presenting the innovative approaches and strategies that can be applied to increase efficiency, sustainability and animal welfare:
- The international marketplace for top genetics "TopTierTreff" presents breeding animals from leading companies and organizations in the dairy and beef cattle breeding.
- Autonomous agricultural systems are becoming increasingly important for practical farming. This year's Barn Robot Event is dedicated to the topic of automatic feed pushing in dairy housig.
- In the "AI on poultry farms" spotlight, exhibitors will showcase innovative and solutions based on artificial intelligence for improving animal welfare, animal health, performance and energy efficiency in poultry production.
- The "pig farming without tail docking" spotlight will provide information on industry solutions and best-practice examples from a range of countries.
Further spotlights include:
- The "Solar Transition" spotlight at EnergyDecentral 2024, which takes place in parallel to EuroTier, and the "In-house farming" spotlight with a focus on alternative proteins and indoor farming solutions.
- The "agrifood start-ups" area presents innovative industry solutions from entrepreneurial companies while working as a networking venue for start-ups and investors.
- In the DLG.Prototype.Club, teams of software engineers solve technical challenges set by exhibitors that will be resulting in workable prototypes on show.
Expert Stages: Hotspots for cattle, pigs and poultry
Once again several Expert Stages will feature at EuroTier 2024. The 'Expert Stage Poultry' will explore innovations and trends in poultry production and breeding, animal health, feeding and marketing. The "Pig Expert Stage" will offer visitors a compact overview of the latest developments in breeding, feeding, husbandry and climate control systems in animal housing. The program on the two stages at the DLG stand (Hall 13, Stand E 58) offers a variety of topics: The expert sessions on "Direct farm sales and on-farm slaughter" will cover topics like mobile slaughter, legal framework conditions, marketing strategies and economic aspects of direct farm sales. On the subject of "Horses", the focus will be on appropriate husbandry according to breed, needs-based feeding, health, exercise and transportation. At the DLG stand and on the other expert stages, several sessions on selected cattle topics are on the program. The two Expert Stages "Inhouse Farming" and "EnergyDecentral" round off the comprehensive range of presentations and discussions.
International congresses, conferences and events
EuroTier is the platform for leading events in the international livestock sector. This is the venue where livestock farmers, agribusiness leaders and experts gather to network and exchange ideas. Together with the partner organizations of EuroTier 2024, numerous conferences and evening events will once again be on offer. These include the International Cattle & Pig Event, the International Poultry Conference, the International Poultry Event, the Animal Health Event and an international conference on animal husbandry topics from Ukraine and Moldova. A mix of international keynote speeches, round tables, award ceremonies and associated networking events invites visitors to exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere.
Award-winning innovations - inspiring people
As part of EuroTier, the DLG will be presenting three leading international awards for innovative animal husbandry technology: The "Innovation Award EuroTier" recognizes innovations ready for practical farm use and underlines the importance of modern technical solutions for livestock farming. The "Animal Welfare Award", a distinction of the EuroTier Innovation Awards, recognizes products and services that meet the requirements for higher animal welfare standards and improved animal health to a particularly high degree. Pioneering work and concepts for sustainable animal husbandry and decentralized energy production are honored with the "DLG-Agrifuture Concept Winner Award", evaluated by an international jury. The international "Women in Ag Award" honors inspiring women from agriculture, agribusiness, education, technology and research. The best channels from YouTuber, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram will receive the "DLG Agri Influencer Award".

EnergyDecentral trade fair and the Inhouse Farming - Feed & Food Show both take place in parallel with EuroTier. Travel options to EuroTier 2024 by train, car and plane are convenient.
