In the DLG Quality Test for Delicatessen and Vinegars, each product is tested in accordance with scientific quality standards and an expert opinion certified in compliance with DIN and ISO is produced.
The range of products tested comprises:
- Delicatessen salads
- Mayonnaises and remoulades
- Seasoned sauces, dressings, dips
- Pickled vegetables
- Other products, e.g. vegetables in aspic, cheese-meat products in aspic
- Product-specific sensory analysis
including appearance, consistency, odour, taste
- Packaging, labelling
data on nutritional value, completeness of labelling elements, handling
- Laboratory analyses (spot checks)
Delicatessen products and Vinegars that pass the DLG tests receive the “DLG award winner” medal in Gold, Silver or Bronze.
