DLG and China Animal Agriculture Association expand cooperation further

Two exhibitions under a single roof - Bio-Energy-Expo and China Animal Husbandry Expo from 18 to 20 May 2012 in Nanjing (China)

DLG (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft – German Agricultural Society) and China Animal Agriculture Association (CAAA) are now further expanding their cooperation launched in March 2010. Accordingly Bio-Energy-Expo, Trade Exhibition for Biogas Technology and Management, organized by DLG AgroTechService, a subsidiary of DLG International, and China Animal Husbandry Expo (CAHE), the exhibition for modern, intensive animal production organized by CAAA, will once again be held under a single roof, at the Nanjing International Expo Centre in the Chinese metropolis from18 to 20 May 2012. Collaboration includes mutual support in canvassing for exhibitors and visitors. DLG International helps European companies from the areas of bioenergy, as well as machinery and equipment for animal husbandry and management, to gain an optimal entry into the growing Asian market. CAAA will market the DLG exhibitions EuroTier and BioEnergy Decentral.
 
At the last event in May 2011 around 1,000 exhibitors took part in the two exhibitions, Bio-Energy-Expo and China Animal Husbandry Expo, on an exhibition floor space of 60,000 m². More than 90,000 visitors came to gather information about breeding, technology, management, farm inputs and services. In the Biogas sector 25 companies from China, America and Europe, including ITT, Binder, Verseidag, MWM, GE Jenbacher and Vogelsang, presented products and services covering all aspects of bioenergy production and use – twice as many as at the premiere event in 2010, emphasizing the high potential of the Chinese biogas market.
 
 
International Conference
There will also once again be an international conference on current topics relating to biogas production in China at Bio-Energy-Expo 2012. At the May 2011 event some 300 par­ticipants listened to the lectures given by speakers from Chinese and German exhibitors, science and academia, GIZ and the Chinese government.
 
The trade and service centre Nanjing is a transport hub between North and South China, located on the Beijing-Shanghai route. It has a major airport and modern exhibition grounds.
