Cooperation agreement signed with INTERSOLAR exhibitions: 22 – 24 August 2017 EnergyDecentral South America in Brazil in São Paulo; 5 – 7 December EnergyDecentral India in Mumbai
The international trade fair for innovative energy supply, EnergyDecentral, will be held as a “Special Exhibition” at Intersolar South America and Intersolar India for the first time in 2017. With the addition of biomass and biogas, these new international formats of EnergyDecentral, will round off the current exhibition programmes of the leading trade fairs for the solar industry in South America and India. This will provide German and international manufacturers in these sectors with a comprehensive platform for convenient entry to South American and Indian markets.
While the focus in Europe is currently on innovations in all areas of decentralized energy production and supply, EnergyDecentral in Sao Pãulo, Brazil 22 to 24 August 2017 and Mumbai, India, 5 to 7 December 2017, will be dedicated entirely to the subject of bioenergy. Special attention will be devoted to developing a relevant technical programme to complement the trade fair. With support from experts in the sector, know.how will take place in the form of innovative technologies for producing energy from biomass and biogas in the region. At the same time, the network for companies from the bioenergy sector in South America and India will be strengthened. The cooperation unites the complementary strengths of the trade fair organizers FMMI, Solar Promotion International and DLG.
Agricultural residues and biogenic wastes as well as renewable raw materials for energy production will become increasingly more important in both countries in the future. A total of 11,000 trade visitors from various areas of renewable energies are expected to attend the only trade fair of this kind in South America. The rapidly growing Brazilian market offers a wide range of investment possibilities for international energy efficiency and renewable energy companies. Therefore, equipment and components (for bioreactors and filtration systems) as well as efficiency-enhancing technologies and know-how in project planning and management have great market potential.
At EnergyDecentral India and Intersolar about 12,000 trade visitors from various areas of renewable energies are expected as well 140 professional journalists who make the topic available to a broad public. With 1.31 billion inhabitants, India is the second most populated country in the world. Furthermore, the energy consumption is steadily increasing. Due to outdated and inefficient power plants India‘s population is currently insufficiently supplied with electricity. Currently over 55% of all residents have no access to electricity especially in rural areas. The Indian market offers international companies operating in the energy efficiency and renewable energy sector a wide range of investment possibilities.
