Frankfurt am Main, Germany, 16 January 2017 – Visitors to the 22nd annual Commodity Classic – America’s largest farmer-led and farmer-focused convention and trade show – will have the opportunity to find out more about Agritechnica, the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural machinery that takes place every two years in Germany.
Representatives from Agritechnica’s organizer, DLG (German Agricultural Society), will be present at the event at stand number 2516, which takes place at the Henry B. González Convention Center, in San Antonio, Texas, from 2-4 March. Agritechnica personnel will provide detailed information on the program for this year’s exhibition, and how farmers and industry experts can attend.
Agritechnica attracted almost 100,000 international visitors in 2015 out of a total of 452,000 – including over 5,000 visitors from North America. There are more than two million farms covering 363 million hectares in the US, so the Agritechnica team will be working hard to attract more representatives of its agricultural sector to the German exhibition, which takes place in mid-November.
“Visitors at Commodity Classic can get detailed information on our trade fair and participate in an organized trip to Agritechnica with our partner Leader Tours Inc. The trip combine the trade fair and factory visits to different manufacturers,” says Sandra Willer, Area Manager Northern Europe, North and Latin America.
The Agritechnica exhibition offers an unparalleled range of agricultural solutions well-suited to farmers from Texas and across North America. Visitors can discover for themselves the latest and most comprehensive range of equipment and solutions, from tractors and harvesters to implements for cultivation, sowing, fertilizer application and crop protection.
Leading manufacturers time their innovation cycles and product launches to coincide with Agritechnica, which takes place every two years, and more than 400 innovations were registered at the event in 2015. In addition, Agritechnica offers the unique opportunity for a practical, hands-on experience through on-site field trials that demonstrate the benefits of adopting new farming techniques.
Agritechnica 2017 takes place from 12-18 November (preview days 12+13 November) at Hanover’s Exhibition Grounds. More than 452,000 visitors and 2,892 exhibitors attended the event in 2015, making it the world’s largest trade fair dedicated to agricultural machinery and technology.
