TopTen Award-winners for Ham and Sausage 2008
The Top Ten are the ten most successful German participants in the DLG Quality Tests for Cooked Sausages and Sausages made from Cooked Meat, Small sausages (Note: such as fryers, wieners), Boiled Ham, Sausage Preserves, Raw Cured Ham and Raw Cured Sausages
The best foreign participant in each of the six segments is awarded an additional prize. This year a lot of foreign producers gained awards for cooked ham. Therefore there is a TopTen List international for cooked ham for the first time.
A formula is used to calculate the ranking in the Top Ten. It covers the number of DLG Awards in Gold, the number of award-winning products and the average score marks of the individual products.
