The Anuga FoodTec, jointly organised by the German Agricultural Society (DLG) and Koelnmesse GmbH, is the leading international food technology fair. Taking place every three years, the fourth Anuga FoodTec is in Cologne, 4 – 7 April, 2006 , and will include food industry representatives from all over the world. The DLG FoodTec Programme is a set of communication services for the food processing industry with its upstream and downstream industries and relevant service providers.
The DLG FoodTec Programme includes the Anuga FoodTec Exhibition, events such as congresses and seminars, and portals in the Internet. We work together with a number of different partners in collaboration to form a network.
The aim of the DLG FoodTec Programme is to improve quality by optimising processing technologies and processes, training staff and strengthening companies' management skills, as well as promoting innovative measures.
The DLG FoodTec Programme is interdisciplinary, international, cross-branch, cross-technology and practice-oriented.
The European FoodTec Award is in recognition of innovative and intelligent technical investment projects that have been realised in the European dairy and food processing industries. In autumn 2002 the DLG invited nominations for the European FoodTec Award for the fifth time. The awards are always presented at the opening of the "Anuga FoodTec" exhibition. [more...]
