In many cases the lawmaker specifies external certification of the safety of machines and implements prior to their first registration.

DLG is your competent partner for this. As test centre with multiple accreditations with a recognised QA system we conduct, for instance, EC model utility tests in accordance with the Machine Directive annex IV.

We also test and certify the safety of machines and implements within the framework of the German Test Centre for Agriculture and Forest Engineering (DPLF) and the EuroTest® Organisation. GS symbols and EuroTest plaquettes confirm tested safety in dealings with third parties.

A special form of certification test is the OECD test. We test tractors in accordance with the OECD Standard Code in Germany. It is the standard for performance measurement of tractors and a precondition for export to non-EU countries.
